FEBRUARY 2023
During the 28-day celebration of Black History Month, I showcased 28 remarkable black businesses and organizations based in Chicago. For each of them, I created captivating illustrations capturing the essence of their mission within just 28 minutes. These unique artworks were made available as prints for $28 each, and a percentage of the proceeds was graciously donated to support different black businesses and causes in the local Chicago community.
My intention behind this initiative was to raise awareness about these exceptional establishments while fostering a sense of connection by celebrating shared interests, with the ultimate goal of building meaningful relationships.
